Our client is looking for candidates who have demonstratable experience TIG welding complex components, as well as a range of thin sheet metals. TIG Welder Permanent or Contract Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 07:00 or 08:00 -16:00 or 17:00 Friday 07:00-12:00 £34,155.00 - £36,247.07 Competitve Hourly Rate Available for Contract Derby TIG Welder Job Description Manual TIG Welding and fabrications of components to company and customer specification. Read and understand welding symbols as detailed on WPS and Engineering Drawings Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes Machine and Tooling Set Up Packs as required, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, Inspection Plans etc Carry out in process inspection in accordance with requirements to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations Ensure that components identified as non-conforming during in process inspection are identified and communicated in accordance with the Non-Conformance Procedures TIG Welder Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Demonstratable TIG Welding experience on 0.5-3mm thickness Experience working with a number of materials, such as nickel, stainless steel, aluminium, and/or inconel Footpedal expereince TIG Welder Company Benefits Overtime Available Company Pension & Employee Bonus Scheme Annual Leave and Bank Holidays; (Plus additional annual leave in line with length of service increments) Death in Service Benefit; two times’ basic salary Free Car Parking Internal Training and Development Occupational Sick Pay If you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
