Deputy Manager – Outstanding Private Nursery (Ilford, Redbridge) Salary: £29,000 per annum Location: Ilford, Redbridge Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 9am–6pm Start Date: ASAP An Outstanding Ofsted-rated private nursery in Ilford is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team. The nursery cares for children aged 6 months to 5 years, providing a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment. About the Role: Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting Oversee staff and ensure the highest standards of care and education Maintain compliance with Ofsted and EYFS requirements Lead by example, supporting staff development and positive teamwork Requirements: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) Proven experience in a nursery or early years leadership role Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding standards Excellent communication and organisational skills Key Details: Setting size: 70 children enrolled Ofsted rating: Outstanding Interview process: Face-to-face interview and trial session If you’re a motivated and dedicated early years professional ready to take the next step in your career, we’d love to hear from you!
