Job Description
Senior QC Analytical Scientist London Walker Cole International is working with a leading biopharmaceutical organisation developing advanced gene therapy products, who are seeking a Senior QC Analytical Scientist to join their Quality Control (QC) team. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting GMP testing, method development, and analytical compliance activities within a state-of-the-art facility. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in QC testing within a regulated biopharmaceutical or gene therapy environment and a passion for delivering high-quality, compliant results that support life-changing therapies. As the Senior QC Analyst, you will be responsible for: * Performing and reviewing GMP-compliant QC analytical testing of gene therapy products and materials. * Leading laboratory operations, ensuring equipment calibration, data integrity, and adherence to quality systems. * Managing and supporting deviations, CAPAs, and change controls, contributing to continuous improvement. * Providing technical leadership and training to QC staff while supporting audits and regulatory inspections. The successful Senior QC Analyst will demonstrate: * Degree in a life science discipline (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related). * Strong background in analytical testing, quality control, and GMP laboratory operations. * Experience with biologics or gene therapy products preferred. * Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally with QA, production, and R&D teams.
