Warehouse Manager Job Type: Permanent Location: East London Post Code: E8 2LX Salary: £35,000 Start Date: ASAP The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of all warehouse operations - from goods-in and stock control to order preparation and dispatch. This is a hands-on role that combines leadership, organisation, and practical problem-solving to ensure customers receive the right products on time and in perfect condition. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching domestic appliances white and brown goods Lead and support a small warehouse team, ensuring workloads are well planned and completed efficiently Maintain accurate stock records and carry out regular stock checks and reconciliations Route daily deliveries efficiently, ensuring vans are loaded correctly and delivery schedules are met Coordinate deliveries and collections with suppliers, couriers, and installation teams Manage and process damaged goods, faulty returns, and ensuring correct documentation and communication with suppliers Ensure all appliances are handled safely and stored correctly to prevent damage Conduct regular checks of company vehicles for wear and tear, cleanliness, and compliance with road safety standards Implement and maintain health and safety standards throughout the warehouse Optimise storage space and workflow to ensure smooth operations Liaise with the sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment Continuously look for ways to improve efficiency, accuracy, and service quality Skills & Experience Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role, ideally within the domestic appliance, electrical, or trade supply sector Strong organisational and time-management skills Good understanding of stock control systems and warehouse processes Confident using warehouse or inventory software Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach Working knowledge of health and safety regulations The role will suit individuals currently working as a Warehouse Manager and be living within a commutable distance of Central London or be willing to relocate.
