Job Title: Project Manager – Defence Sector Location: London Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annum + Car Allowance Holidays: 26 days plus bank holidays Clearance: SC (minimum) We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Defence Region team, delivering a range of construction and refurbishment projects across the MOD Built Estate in London and the Southeast. This is an excellent opportunity to oversee multiple projects valued between £100k and £5 million, managing the full lifecycle from design to completion. Essential: Candidates must already hold High Level Security Clearance (SC or higher) or have recently lapsed clearance and must be UK Sole Nationals. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, prioritising workload effectively * Lead new build and refurbishment projects through the full construction cycle * Plan, manage, and coordinate projects in line with MOD and company governance requirements * Report project progress, risks, and financial performance to the Senior Project Manager and clients * Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, end users, designers, contractors, and military personnel * Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from early design (RIBA stages) through procurement, construction, and handover * Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality Essential Qualifications & Skills: * Background in Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering * CSCS Card holder * SMSTS qualification * Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH) * Active or recently lapsed Security Clearance (SC minimum) * Must be a UK Sole National and willing to undergo further clearance if required * Excellent knowledge of RIBA phases and project governance * Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills * Commercial awareness and experience managing supply chains * Proactive and adaptable with a strong delivery mindset Benefits: * £60,000 – £65,000 per annum * Car allowance included * 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Opportunity to work on high-profile MOD and defence infrastructure projects If you are an experienced Project Manager with active (or recently held) security clearance and are looking for your next opportunity within the Defence sector, apply now to join a supportive and forward-thinking team
