Location - Fareham, Hampshire

Working Hours - Monday to Friday 37.5 Hours per Week 8:00am - 4:00pm 

Are you an experienced Electromechanical Assembler with a background in cable assembly, wiring, crimping and soldering? Do you take pride in building high-quality products and delivering right-first-time results?

We are looking for an Electromechanical Assembler to join a growing engineering and manufacturing business in Fareham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, servers, racks and cable builds within a modern, quality-driven production environment.

The RoleAs an Electromechanical Assembler,

you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of a range of products, ensuring all work is completed to the highest quality standards and customer specifications.

Working from engineering drawings and work instructions,

you will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and test IPCs, servers, racks and electro-mechanical assemblies

Manufacture and modify cable assemblies using approved tools and processes

Carry out wiring, crimping and soldering activities to IPC-A-620 standards

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions

Ensure compliance with ESD controls and handling procedures

Identify and report build issues, documentation errors and process improvements

Maintain high standards of workmanship and product quality

Support the achievement of production schedules and customer deadlines

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have

Previous experience in electromechanical assembly

Cable assembly, wiring, crimping and soldering experience

Experience working to IPC standards, ideally IPC-A-620

The ability to read and understand engineering drawings and assembly instructions

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Experience within an engineering, electronics, aerospace, defence or manufacturing environmentWhat's on Offer?
