A Closer Look at the Work

The work will involve:

Maintaining electrical systems, lighting and associated equipment

Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs

Working on bakery and catering machinery

Inspecting and maintaining mechanical assets, including fans, pumps and compressors

Dealing with water services, minor plumbing and building fabric repairs

Providing first-line checks on HVAC, fire alarm and security systems

Completing planned maintenance and recording outstanding remedial work

Managing your workload to meet site

requirements and maintenance deadlines

Following relevant safety procedures and ensuring work is properly documented

What You'll Bring

You'll need to be a qualified electrician with the practical ability to work independently across a range of commercial environments.

Essential:

Level 3 electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds 2330, 2365 or equivalent

AM2 assessment

City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)

Previous electrical maintenance experience

Full, valid UK driving licence

You'll also need to be comfortable undertaking basic mechanical and general building maintenance, with the ability to work at height when required.

City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection and experience completing electrical certification would be beneficial, but aren't essential.
