Are you an experienced Qualified Adult Social Worker seeking a locum opportunity in Hertfordshire?

3D Recruit is recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to work within local authority Adult Services, supporting adults with a range of care and support needs. This temporary role offers £32 per hour and an ASAP start.

The Role

You will deliver person-centred adult social care assessments and support planning, helping adults make informed choices and maintain independence. Working with individuals, carers and partner organisations, you will balance needs, strengths and risks when recommending support.

Your responsibilities will include:

Undertaking Care Act assessments, reviews and reassessments

Identifying eligible care and support needs through strengths-based conversations

Developing and reviewing support plans with adults and their carers

Managing complex cases and responding to changing needs and risks

Completing Mental Capacity Assessments and contributing to best interests decisions

Identifying safeguarding concerns and supporting appropriate enquiries

Liaising with health services, care providers and community organisations

Keeping clear, accurate and timely case records and professional reports

Ensuring practice meets statutory duties and local authority

requirements

What We're Looking For

Social Work degree or equivalent qualification

Current Social Work England (SWE) registration

Minimum 2 years' post-qualifying experience

Strong knowledge of UK adult social care legislation and practice

Experience managing complex adult social care cases

Right to work in the UK
